Bath Fringe started in 1981 and has been run by a co-operative committee since 1992. For 17 days in May/June there are up to 200 events in 40 venues in and around the city, featuring local, national and international talent.
In true Fringe style we provide a platform for Bath’s (and the wider) artistic community to put on their own shows. Input from local theatres, colleges and other venues, as well as artists and musicians, enables the festival to showcase as wide a range of performing and visual arts as possible – with the emphasis on cutting edge quality.
